South Platte Crossing Apartments

South Platte Crossing is a development in Commerce City featuring 60 affordable homes; it is held in ULC’s community land trust for permanent affordability. ULC acquired the property — which included the South Platte Crossing office building — in 2018, to preserve critical land along a transit corridor. The housing development qualified for 9% low-income housing tax credits and was developed by Nesbitt Development and Brinshore Development. The apartment building is located next to the South Platte Crossing office building and the Commerce City “C4” campus, featuring a variety of nonprofit and government services; it is also a quarter mile from the 72nd Ave. & Colorado Blvd. station on RTD’s N Line commuter rail.
